There are great, professional themes that make the website look great. The templates are easy to use and look fantastic.
Without templates it can be hard to use, and coding is too difficult.
It’s a great, cost efficient website builder. It helps create websites that we couldn’t otherwise create ourselves. It helps us sell our products in a professional manner.
Wordpress is among the easiest programs to use. It has many options to be able to customize your work
It takes a bit to follow. I wish there was more of a tutorial before you begin
Media/communications
I love that it’s easy to build your blog whether it’s the free site builder or you choose to go premium. He designs are amazing
Nothing at all. It’s eady to use and easy to share my blog
It’s beneficial to build your own blog site with Wordpress, it’s essy to market your blog as well
I first started my blog on Wordpress in 2007! And since then have been impressed with every aspect of how the product grows, from more appealing themes to ease of user friendliness on the backend.
More free plugins and themes. Better support, possibly live or chat instead of just online forums.
I have a personal portfolio, three author websites and a recipe website on Wordpress. Our book review site used to be on WP but we upgraded to ExpressionEngine.
WordPress is easy to navigate & modify your website!
I wish there were more standard templates available
We use WordPress for our company website. It provides an easy to use interface for keeping our site up to date.
The platform is incredibly user-friendly and can create a variety of sites with the same outline.
I really can't think of anything I dislike. It's been easy to train in, and easy to use.
Creating beautiful sites for companies with the use of this program.
I’ve used Wordpress for my website for almost 8 years and it is without fail, great!
The cost for some of the advanced features can be prohibitive.
Getting the word out about services, virtual presence, very adaptable.
I like that I can easily express my creativity
Hard to navigate through the pages on site
Easy marketing and way to get word out there
I like the customization options with so many of the templates.
I didn't like that you can't move boxes/widgets around within the templates, so instead you have to choose a template that is already laid out how you want it or have one custom made.
Easy to update and navigate, and I've noticed that I can keep track of basic viewer stats without adding an additional analytics program or plugin.
the customer support is great and i absolutely love the tutorials and the various tools I am able to use.
It’s tricky to catch onto the layout, i honestly don’t have any other complaints about wordpress. I think it is great!
Provides a place to have my blog!
The ability to customise it the way that I like for my business.
I dislike that I can't change the way the blog is organised without changing the entire theme.
Time management. If I want to educate my students, its easy to write a post and send it to them. Any one interested in sessions with me, I send them my posts on what I do and how it benefits them. I can educate my clients on stretches, techniques and whatever else I choose but instead of having to specifically write it out, I make a post and send it to them. It is so much easier than spending hours a day sending the same messages.
Even without plugins, there are so many features natively built into building, organizing, and archiving blog and news posts.
The limitation on templates can hurt some power users that prefer full control over their layouts though this shouldn't deter too many people from using the .com over self hosting.
We currently use Wordpress to build interactive white papers, e-books, and to date our biggest projects are our conferences which host all of our speakers, agendas, and other important info.
Easy to use - no coding necessary. Don't have to be an expert on websites to use. But getting proper training up front is important to use it correctly.
has great limitations on what can be done and manipulation of content
Our blog page and also our river cruise pages are on WP
Extremely user friendly platform. Easy to use and navigate. Flexible for developing sites of any size and needs. Easy to train clients on how to update their content on their site.
Interface is somewhat outdated, but they constantly coming up with new updates.
Website building and management. On-sote SEO management
Wordpress offers a lot of flexibility! If you can imagine it, you can build it.
Security can be a concern because it’s used so often, there are frequent needs or update security.
We’re able to build almost any website you can imagine. Wordpress gives so much flexibility to the user to develop any look or capability or design. Plus, there are so many developers that work with Wordpress than you can find almost anything out on the market.
I love that Wordpress has a free version in addition to their paid version. I've been using Wordpress for a long time and I really love the ease of use. I also love all the great ways to customize your website. Wordpress reminds me of Tumblr x 1,000 because it's an easy to use blog but has many other web design capabilities like customization of CSS.
I have yet to find something I dislike about Wordpress. I think that they've got everything covered. I'm excited to see how they progress and improve because I really don't see anything wrong with it.
Wordpress is a great way to create websites for clients because it makes it easy for clients to then go into Wordpress and manage their website. I love that they have tips and information within the dashboard so you know what changes need to be made and where.
I will continue to use wordpress, for its ease of use and great tools. I think that there is definitely a learning curve, but it is easy to teach others about as well
There are some complications with plugins and using outside themes, but those aren't really word press issues
Getting website edits done at lower costs
Wordpress woocommerce is a great ecommerce platform.
I wish there was a way to not let people know it was Wordpress when going to /login
Ecommerce website, higher quality and cheaper than Shopify.
Very organized, easy to add widgets, easy to edit HTML/CSS
Sometimes you have to delete the cache for edits to show.
Easy to host websites, create websites
My favorite thing about word press is how easy it is to use. The platform is very intuitive.
Sometimes formatting can be a little difficult.
A great place to house our blog that allows us to still customize the look of our website.
