I really don't have anything negative to say about Slack. Maybe that it could look cluttered, but out side of that, it's easy to use
Being able to improve my productivity in order to get other responsibilities through the day.
I love how Slack is easy to use and navigate through. Slack has great customisation capability that streamline communication processes with colleagues and clients. The interface is also an aspect that makes Slack a very attractive and interactive software to work with.
I can't pretty much talk about any dislikes, simply because on my end slack has offered me with nothing but the best features that make communication a fun and superb experience.
Slack has been the platform that I have been using for the past five years as my default communication platform. It offers high audio and video quality during virtual meetings with colleagues. Messaging with slack has also been great because it is fast and offers end to end security during conversations.

Slack is a comprehensive and solid platform for corporate communications and collaboration. We use it on a daily basis as our primary communication tool and it works pretty well. I like its intuitiveness, user friendliness and flexibility that makes it super easy to use. It has lot of integrations like Gmail, Google Drive, Confluence etc.
Slack can be overwhelming especially to new users. It requires some time to learn and understand its functionality.
I have been using Slack for more than a decade now and it has been of great help. The features that it offers are amazing, you can easily communicate with other colleagues by chat, video conferencing or call which is really amazing and incredible.
It's like a corporate WhatsApp. Ease of using this platform.
Whenever the slack is on, it should show active on the screen
Professional communication and management
Slack provides a central platform for team messaging, where you can create specific channels for various projects or topics, making it easier to track conversations and stay organized. It also allows for direct messaging for private conversations, supports file sharing directly in the chat, and offers powerful search functionality to quickly find past messages and documents. Additionally, Slack integrates seamlessly with a wide range of other tools, such as project management apps and calendars, enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
While Slack enhances team communication, its high message volume can be overwhelming, and managing notifications effectively can be challenging, especially for larger teams considering the cost of paid plans.
Slack addresses the challenges of scattered team communication by centralizing chats, files, and project updates in one place, which streamlines collaboration and reduces reliance on emails, thus enhancing overall team efficiency and productivity.
I have been using Slack for almost 2 years now. Slack made company communications easier and also very FUN! It is very customizable, you can add as many channels as you want and you can modify it to allow certain people access to it, you can lock the channel or make it public, and you can also edit it post-creation. Dead channel? No problem, you can archive it and it would still be viewable in case you hold some dear memories in that channel so it won't ever be deleted unless you want to do so. You can integrate "Apps" or as we call them "Bots" on Slack for Examble, you can integrate Coda as a bot which can make any Coda link sent in Slack viewable or "Previewable" before you click. In my company, we integrated ChatGPT and gave it access to our customer service tools so when you ask it any question, it will respond appropriately to the company's rules! We also have a Confluence integration, which notifies us if there are any updated pages or newly made pages which is extremely helpful in a customer service job. Slack is used by us every day, it is our only method of communication between us and managers during a shift which makes everything said by anyone "Documentable" which is very nice. Slack outdid themselves on the last update, they made it look really nice and almost like what Discord looks which is nice.
For 2 years, I haven't seen any issues using Slack or anything that I dislike to be honest.
It solves the issue of contacting higher-ups as they can be viewed and contacted on Slack. Also, it benefits us by enabling us to document every step we make during work so that word of mouth is no longer a problem!
Communication between the team made easy
Notifications are not always working. Sometimes the app freezes when restarting.
Open communication with a big team.
Easy to use, easy to navigate and easy to create tasks. Lots of features and integration opportunities, i like the possibility of sharing files and messages across different chats, and the use of channels. Integrated with Quip very nicely. The customer support team are active 24/7 to help when stack.
I don't have any negative experiences with Slack.
Slack allows me to send mass text to people instantly and through Slack am also able to conduct my businesses through video calls. I can also collaborate my projects with teams through video calls. Slack helps us grow and reach far.
Slack has an intuitive interface and real-time messaging that enhance efficiency. Its seamless integration with other tools makes it a must-have for anyone looking to boost productivity!
While Slack is an excellent communication platform, one area for improvement could be enhancing the search functionality. Improving search capabilities, especially when dealing with a large volume of messages and files.
Boost communication with my teams.
Very simple and easy to use and also timely site for communication
The slack is the best, no dislike at all
Slack minimized movement within the office. Alf have increased high performance within the organization
It's much quicker and easier than email. I'm able to share information with individuals and teams, ask questions to large groups, and gain insights that inspire cross-collaboration.
Sometimes it's difficult to find what I am looking for in the search.
With our entire company spread across the globe in 12 countries, it is the one unifier for us. It helps create a melting pot that drives community. In addition, as a content writer, just scrolling the channels gives me ideas for content I would not otherwise have. Sometimes someone will post a question about our capabilities and someone else will respond with an answer and an example that I was previously unaware of — so it helps to break down silos.
Liked the ability to collaborate sync communicationwith team. We can pin the important topics of the conversation to refer it later. Easily available and accessible thru a mobile phone. Ability to communicate with clients or internal team with security.
Searching for specific conversations can be hard. Rather than that I don't see anything to dislike.
Very effective in terms of team connect despite being in different geographies. Easy to use interface so everyone can use Slack without any complications. Ability to have multiple channels.
Slack transforms team communication like never before! Our workflow has been completely revolutionised by its flexible capabilities and easy-to-use interface. Sending a message to coordinate cross-functional testing is now as easy as integrating Lambdatest with Slack. Our development process has changed significantly as a result of Lambdatest's interface with Slack, enabling more efficient communication and quicker problem-solving. Because the integration is so simple, we never needed customer support. We use it on a daily basis as a primary medium of communication.
Slack can be resource-intensive sometimes, particularly for devices with limited RAM or slower internet connections, leading to performance issues. Also, if I had to select a complaint, there are moments when you get too many notifications, especially if you're using several channels. Sometimes it feels like a bustling swarm!
When it comes to disorganised communication, Slack is a lifesaver. We can communicate, share files, and keep everyone updated without getting bogged down in never-ending email conversations because to this central portal. It has simplified our conversations, removed knowledge gaps, and made working together easy. For remote teams like ours, it's also a lifeline because it keeps everyone in communication wherever they are. We connect with our overseas teams using their video conferencing, which provides us a seamless communication.
Multiple things, to name a few, Formating the message, the icon library, creating various groups, and moving groups under a specific group, starting a thread. It's super easy to have all things under my control.
It's hard to search direct chat groups created with a few of my peers a while ago. Just like how we get to know while using Whatsapp, which other groups two people were part of, it would be great to see such a feature, which may reduce the cognitive load on many users.
It gives me a platform to async between my team members. It saves a ton of time without jumping on to random zoom calls and communicating what efficiently matters the most.
Slack is my favorite communications tool I've used in my career thus far. It has an excellent user interface and is simple to use. It also offers an opportunity to build company culture by providing "channels" for various team members to join and interact.
N/A - I have had a great experience with Slack.
There has been an increase in company collaboration and the building of company culture, as it's easy to chat with different team members through Slack.
Slack has been designed very well. You can easily use the service without that much of hassle. It has been developed to be implemented in any type of business. You will get use to it very easy since you might be able to use it every single day. The features that the service offers are great, you can easily communicate with others by chat, call or videoconferencing which is amazing and the integration it has with other services or tools are great. I haven't had the chance to use their customer support since it has never failed at any point for me, ut I'm pretty sure their support is also amazing.
I woul say there is something less helpful since everyone uses it depending on their needs, for example, I don't find helpful the Threads section since I can go directly to the chat I have opened and that's it, but someone else might find that option very helpful bu I don't use it. The rest it's great. Everything works perfectly fine and you can get what you need in front of you.
The communication is always important and even though Slack is not the only videoconferencing service I use; is the one that I use the most and I'm comfortable with it. We can interach with others by chat and if we need to share our screen we just switch to a videoconferencing or to a call, so it's very versatile.
Slack is a great way to streamline communication and increase efficiency in collaboration.
It can be noisy at times, but that is easily remedied by adjusting the settings and adhering to proper Slack ettiquette and hygiene.
Ease of communication and collaboration.
The organization of different threads. I've been able to join and build cool communities with this feature.
Sometimes, inviting people can be a little complicated. I had my rooms reset or something where no one could join unless they were with my organization, and links expiring, even though I've never encountered the problem previously.
I mainly use it for communities, but I also use it for one-on-one communication with clients.
