QBO has developed to be an excellent choice for any small- to medium-sized businesses, particularly those that are looking to automate processes. Love the integration with Rippling, Ramp, and other financial tools that we use. QBO strikes a nice balance between functionality (I'm a CPA, and it works the way I want it to) and being user-friendly. The bank account/credit card reconciliation functionality is very, very good. And the ability to forward invoices/receipts to QBO and have them auto-matched is excellent.

Not much. Report writing is pretty basic, but there is an Advanced version that we are not yet using. The built-in payment integration with Bill.com is clunky--we use Ramp instead and that works great.

We're a startup company, with limited resources. QBO allows me, as the CFO, to keep our financial systems up to date without having to have a lot of staff. Great integration capabilities.

Its great when you have many vendors. You can pick and choose which invoices to pay once they are entered. You can adjust the vendor payments from ACH to Check when necessary.

I dont really have a downside just the fact to train people. A lot of people do not like change if they have worked a software for a long time. Once adjusted everyone i know finds it better

the way we can pick and choose the invoices we need to pay. Also, sometimes vendors prefer check over ACH at different times so its easy to adjust. When tax time comes its easy to organize the 1099 vendors.

QuickBooks Online allows me to easily track expenses, take payments online and track hours online. The program also allows me to review the books and make adjustments and fixes

It takes time to understand, so there is a very steep learning curve. The messaging platform is a little cumbersome.

Helps me manage transactions, create a profit and loss and help with creating reports, helps categorize expenses and track sales very well.

Categorize transactions. The match method. The report layout.

Reclassify transactions. I think we should be able to reclassify transfers as well as undeposited accounts.

Do the bookkeeping for clients and file taxes

It is user friendly and automates everything.

The initial setup process is not as intuitive as I would like.

Quickbooks Time (t-sheets) is an excellent tool for helping track hourly staff.

Auto logout happens from time to time and it automatically logs you out of QBO, even when you're working in it.

We're solving our accounting needs for two locations, reconciling bank accounts and multiple credit card accounts and easily able to create financials. QBO is a user friendly tool for all business accounting needs.

It is easy to use, easy to navigate, I have it linked to my bank account and the company that does my payroll. Easy and fast to use for small business.

Sometimes the help area isn't always helpful. I tend to find the answer on YouTube.

They help me keep all my money in and money out in one place. I can see easily how my business is doing financially.

Basic accounting needs, tracking invoices, budgets, managing client details all very helpful

If possible offering over the phone assistance when needed would be helpful

First, I like the banking feeds and rules that helps having accurate information. Reconciling is easy and I love the trainings offered so when I have a new hire, I ask them to do the trainings that are really complete and challenging.

I dont like how estimates work. Also, the Cash Flow Statement does not recognize negative ammounts properly.

It help us having accurate informaton for our financial reports. The easiness of using bank feeds and reconciling saves us a lot of time.

I love that we can log in from multiple devices across multiple locations. Being able to simultaneously work in the program without overwriting someone else's work has been an essential part of our growth.

I think the only downside is the fact that it IS online. Without an internet connection, or even a spotty connection, you can be SOL. There does seem to be some lagging in the system at times, but nothing we can't work around.

The biggest thing QB Online has solved for us is the growth of our company by having multiple users access the information simultaneously. Back when we were on the desktop version, you had to be very careful with who was doing what and WHEN they were doing it. The next day you could come in to all of your work being overwritten and lost forever. QB Online has solved that issue for us!

I love the mobile app that makes it easy to take pictures of receipts quickly! Quickbooks makes balancing our books simple!!

I have not had any issues with the platform!

Quickbooks allows on the go receipt snap shots creating faster capture for my accountant and efficient for me as a small business owner.

It's user accounting friendly and has plenty of training tools available.

You need to purchase a subscription, Monthly or Yearly.

I am enjoying QuickBooks online. It is mostly intuitive and easy to use. Makes booking simple and easy!

Lack of knowledge about how to customize reports and views in projects to show the exact information I need.

There was a bit of a learning curve at first.

The best part is it is integrated into my CSM system. It makes it easy to track receipts, sales, and outstanding invoices.

Sometimes the fees are a little much, and it adds up over the year.

A drawback I feel is it can't Import bunch of transactions is mapping is not correct or account code is not as per QBO

We can import many of transaction is few minutes and Recategorize transactions very easily
