I like that it has all the major features you'd expect from a task/project management platform. But what I like most is that It includes all the features and you just pay for users. Other tools limit features or tools to different levels or prices. `

My only dislike is the UI. It's a bit basic. But I can get past that. I havent used it long enough to make a long list.

We are using to list and track a long list of work items within our organization. Too many things were getting lost in the day-to-day and we needed to dashboard for a pseudo-scrum.

Clean kaban interface without too many disturbances Great ability to connect milestones directly together with either lists (swimlanes) or individual tasks to create a progress. Easy to set up new boards/projects and have cross references between those and users In overall Nifty got everything that a team need to be productive with a project management kanban tool. The software update interval is quick and new features and improvements to existing are released frequently. The support is good and fast and issues have been addressed quickly.

Tag management is really missing. Unused tags can at this moment not be removed. Lack of batch/bulk actions (archive/complete/move/transfer/tag multiple cards) Missing multiple-column lists/lanes

Project management is getting a lot easier with Nifty. The kanban tool itself is not a new invention but the surrounding features in Nifty really get the process a lot easier managing multiple teams in multiple areas but still connected and with different milestones

This is very customizable and very user friendly. Tons of features that make it extremely robust.

No 2-way Google Calendar sync (as of writing)

I was looking for a little bit more than just a glorified checklist and Nifty did the trick. I'm able to manage multiple projects, checklists and activities. Even integrating my personal tasks as well.

I really like being able to have team members on my tasks and the integration to google docs and drive so that I can find everything. I think nifty worked really well for myself and my team and the access on my mobile as well.

not all notifications were getting to my staff it gets some getting used to

I wanted something easy to see all my tasks and deadlines so it solved that issue.

I love that I can use Nifty to suit my needs. I gradually started using it more and more and it is now helping not only run my business but my life. I am not the most naturally organized person and Nifty is very intuitive and easy to pick up. Also there are some great tutorials online and the customer service is responsive.

I wish there were a few more integrations to help connect with some other apps I use.

As I am not very organized it has solved the problem of what should I be working on right now?" Its all laid out and when I have a new client I just template the process.

Kanban board makes to-do/doing/done easy like Trello and other "card task" apps.

The standard functionality of file uploads includes Google Drive, but using that attaches them as a file rather than linking the original Google Doc. Not cool. UX generally still needs work. It doesn't "flow" for me. They have been making regular updates though and I've seen improvement in just my first 90 days. I'm coming from experience with MS Project, so there are some unintuitive links between milestones with tasks/Gantt chart and the Kanban board... To get the full features, you kind of have to pick one path: traditional Kanban, or Gantt with milestones.

Shared team objectives tracking.

Simplicity & speed of the tool. One of the best among so many project tools out there.

Import features from basecamp etc dont work very well. The interface could have more view modes.

The milestone feature takes a while to get used to, and recurring tasks are not dynamic, in terms of dates automatically changing.

Easy to see all my projects and tasks at a quick glance and find out time committed to those projects.

I like the ability to manage projects and tasks using Nifty documents or Google Docs. Also nice to do recurring tasks and visualize where your tasks are in process.

I wish the recurring tasks were better than they are now. We have a content team writing articles, it would be nice to have more options of when the tasks recurred in addition to auto-assign an idea to one of the tasks for article topics.

The Nifty user-interface is very easy to use and not as confusing as other tools we've used. It allows for quick views on projects, workloads and notifications. The option to allow guest accounts is very cool.

It would be great if there was configurations that allow for standard due dates or recurring reminders. This becomes helpful when sometimes you are you forget to add these when adding tasks. Furthermore, adding recurring reminders (until completed or updated) would help my team keep track of what has to be completed even after you viewed the notification with can remove that little notification number. I would also love the workload view on the mobile app. I am always on the go and using the app is very helpful but I cannot view my staffs workload by person.

Centralizing our communications has been improved but not 100% solved. We quickly saw that using the discussions feature wasn't guaranteed for everyone to seeing it. So, with quick chats, we continue to use Skype. But we love having the integration of google docs, internal docs, tasks, scheduling and more. We've transitioned using many tools to Nifty and a couple of others.

Nifty is a tool is use very often in my business and I do like the fact that it is extremely flexible and it will work on every scenario, even using it for personal use. I have my children use it for school to help they stay focused. One of the thing I really enjoy also is the fact that it is very easy to use. I've used other similar products but they were not as user friendly as nifty. Nifty works great, give you awesome notification and reminds you of your tasks. The support is terrific, they get back to you really quickly. When I have an issue or if I'm stuck or just trying to do something, I always contact support and each and every time, they've always help me. For me, you can have a great product but if you don't have great support to back it out, customers/clients will not be happy because when they need assistance, they can't get the help they need. I am happy over all with this Nifty and I will continue to use it because it just works for me

Honestly, there are not much I dislike about Nifty. I use it quite often; Almost every day. I do quite a bit, run multiple businesses and it helps me to stay focused. The app isn't as robust (in my opinion) as the web version so I find myself using the web version much more often than the app but the app still works great and I do recommend it.

Nifty solves so many problems for me. I run multiple businesses so I have a super busy schedule and I have two teenage boys that are active and I want to be there for them during their sporting events. It helps me manage not only my schedule but my tasks. I really enjoy how you can have sub-tasks. I think the developers of Nifty have really thought things through and have taken feedback from people like me to make it so much better and they are continually in development. I really like that.

Whole app experience and their support. We moved from Trello to Nifty and we don't miss Trello anymore. I really like the milestone and Workloads view, gives me birds eye view of what's going on and what need to fix. Nifty pushing new features/fix every week and that is what we really like. A solid team of passionate people. It replaces many app for us so now we can focus on one app instead of many.

Chat notification sometimes gives trouble, discussion module need improvements. Calendar module need improvements with two way sync with cal app.

Managing projects, team communication and sharing files all in one place. We don't have to use many app now.

You can create GDocs inside the app. Beginner-friendly interface and Simple UI. Also, I like my apps in dark mode which is readily available on Nifty.

Minimal integrations. It will be Zapier/Integromat-reliant when not addressed.

A couple of very minor tweaks would be welcome, but nothing that would stop us using the platform. Plus anything we've queried is already on Nifty's short-term roadmap.

I liked the ease of you, the gant charts made everything super helpful to plan. It works - which although all PM tools are supposed to, this one I felt made things clear and organized enough that our team used it and benefited from it.

It didnt not provide us with voice notes, it would be great if they start adding voice notes in it as it will become easier to convey the task easily to all group members altogether

Better place to collaborate digitally than email. I'm able to set tasks for my website with my marketing agency which helps get my tasks done.

It's free! really like the way the time lines look, very easy to set up and track. Was so easy to set up when I moved over from trello

Many people have not heard of it and are still using other software which means its tricky getting some people to collab on my projects if they don't already use nifty...

I have been able to use this one program to keep track of all my different work flows rather than tracking all my objectives and outcomes in different spreadsheets etc.

I love the way the company can see all the projects together as a ecosystem.

I cant just move the cards up and down, if the card have a date like 18, i shud move the 17,16,15 down, cant just put the 18 up. Cant autocreate a card with filter already im my name, i shud put not assigned, assign it to me then back to my filter, it take time and its a bit anoying.

Im solving company projects problems and cross área projects.

I like the fact that it is simple and I can customize it to my needs

I would still like to see more intuition into easily allowing repetitive processes within a project and more integrations with third party tools in both directions.

We are solving documentation issues that we can convert to front-facing information and we are making it easier to work as a team during the pandemic.

What I appreciate most about Nifty is the capability to add almost everything a team could possibly need or encounter. We can upload files, create docs (that we started building an SOP/Checklist library), Plan out a project with Milestones on a timeline, easily *adjust* those milestone deadlines ;-) And keep conversations tight, having relevant comments on a single card (task) as well as tagging and setting due dates. It's very comprehensive.

Sometimes software can feel a little bloated. Like Microsoft Office, how over the years, MS just kept trying to add all these bells and whistles only to make the experience more confusing. So that being said, Nifty aims to be very comprehensive however, there can be a bit of a learning curve. I wish the notes (that I can write on a given task card) were more flexible (like Trello, using various characters like # to create bold headers, etc.)… I wish that I could paste a list into a checklist -- and Nifty would automatically divvy out my list items into their own separate items to be checked off (like Trello) And I wish the Docs were more flexible. I could TOTALLY see using these as an SOP library but what keeps us from completely adopting that is the fact that they auto-order themselves (the Docs) according to the last one edited. It'd be really cool to be able to embed *within* a Doc too. THAT WAY, my small team could COMPLETELY set up an SOP system *for* particular clients we have. -- because that's reality: you have clients and there's just no way around it: they have their own special unique way of achieving something that needs to be repeatable and easily passed down to future team members.

The problems we're solving: We're getting tasks centralized and keeping tabs on them easier. Since my assistant can comment me in on the particular task, … and can even comment/mention me at various levels of the organization (task level, overall team communication level, project comment level, etc), I feel good knowing that we're not littering another channel (like Telegram, Slack or the email inbox) with little comments that just make a thread bloated and difficult to search through.

Nifty for us was an amazing opportunity to bring together all of our projects in a solid system with a one time purchase price. We were able to purchase it through the Appsumo deal, and once we saw how it was working we upgraded quickly from one code to all five. We are actually going to be helping a client of ours who sub-contracts work to us to organize their business.

It has areas where it needs to catch up with other project management systems. But it's getting better - slack integration added recently. One thing we wanted is the ability for tasks to automatically reoccur, when I last spoke with their team it was in the works but not necessarily something that's right round the corner. As the CEO I've stepped away from the day to day with the system, but its great for me to be able to look at the business and see what tasks are outstanding still. We're even now hiring a project manager to make sure that we're staying true to deadlines and to identify blocks in our process.

We are using it to systemize all our projects, to manage our sub-contractors time, and collaborate with documents and other things related to projects. It works great in combination with slack for us.

The best part about nifty is the ability to have many different views (kanban board, calendar view, etc.) and the ability to chat with team members.

I dislike the ability to customize the look of the board like in Trello.
