What I like most about Monday is the possibility to view all projects at the same time. This increases our ability to organize and optimize time. Every company needs some system that organizes work visually and Monday does that very well.
The human resources department would need more in-depth adaptations/customization on Monday, as this sector works in a different and more complex way. This customization takes more work and usually needs to be done with the help of an external consultant, paid specifically for this.
Monday solves the problem of organizing the projects and sharing with everyone what is happening in each department. The sense of organization is the biggest advantage.
The biggest benefit is the ability to add folks as viewers and/or contributing members. This drives the concept of setting permissions and access in a way that is scalable and easy to manage.
Some of the cloud-based features can be slow. Pulling reports and exporting them to excel or duplicating an existing board can take longer than I would like to see.
We initially used Monday.com as a project management tool. It was eventually adopted across much of the organization as a marketing and collaborating tool and then as a CRM tool. It has the ability to be understood and used by all levels of the company. My favorite aspect is being able to assign tasks and provide deliverable timelines to a person or team.
The way in which the boards are customisable to what we need as a business.
The limitations for the low code format that Monday.com essentially works on.
Sales, Customer Success and others
Monday helps me implementing processes for my team. I like the automation modules and the form modules. It's very clear and easy to use. I like being able to work with people outside our organisation as well.
Sometimes we have to adapt our processes to Monday's possibility. Some features are missing that make our processes not implementable on Monday. Understanding automation is also troublesome, especially that automation don't have "order". Sometimes an automation occurs before another and breaks the chain.
Monday helps us solving internal communication issues and helps us following our processes better. It helps us improving our product team velocity and our sales team sales and renews performances
The upsides of using Monday.com is the platform has a huge volume of features to suit many business needs. It is easy to use, adaptable to many industries and helps us capture all of the data we need in our business
I cannot think of many downsides to using the platform, my only suggestion would be to continue developing the linking/mirroring functionalities as I feel these are excellent tools.
Monday.com allows our business to handle multiple client pipelines and navigate easily through these. Our operation involves juggling a large volume of business development activities across multiple clients and Monday.com allows us to do this efficiently.
User Interface and data representation - and ease of use.
While integrations are available, it seemed complicated
Notifications, team collaboration for follow-ups. Overall more productive.
It's really easy to understand and view the insights in Monday. This has been helpful in evaluating our metrics and also building our efforts around those CRM results.
It's a bit difficult to get the hang of at first, but Monday.com is very good at helping and providing support when needed.
It's helping me to beteer understand both gaps and opportunities in our current efforts especially as it relates to our customer base.
I like how efficient and easy it is to navigate the scope of projects both myself and my team are working on. I also, enjoy the functionality of it.
Having a customer page would be great for us.
Monday helps us all understand what projects we are working on and where we are at with them without having to have an excess of meetings or interrupting our workflow.
Simple to use, a lot of capabilities available, simple to customize and doing full report and dashboards
We haven't find anything in particular, one suggestion is to add more rules for customizing actions.
Organization
Monday allows you to create customized workspaces, according to the user's preferences. In addition, it allows you to establish automations, reminders and use formulas, so that the user is guaranteed to receive alerts when what was pending or scheduled has to be done.
Perhaps it is due to the amount of information that was entered, but the only thing that I would improve is the speed with which it processes the orders. Sometimes the speed of the CRM is slow or it takes time to load items.
Monday makes storing information a lot easier. In addition, it allows the creation of graphs and tables that allow analyzing the data that is in each one of them. It is essential in the company as a work agenda for each of the areas. It benefits us because each team member knows what they have to do and what time they have to do it. It allowed us to organize ourselves a lot.
Easy to use user interface with good customisable options and reminder/notification options to keep our team on track. Once set up correctly the Templates work well as well.
At the top end of pricing and the licencing tiers have to be brought in chunks of 10 users even when you are only adding 1 person. Also feel we are only scratching the surface of what the automations can do and could do with more training videos and information. Would be nice to have a per person option. Does not sync reminders to Outlook calendar in a useful way.
Real-time tracking of multiple projects through various stages from all over the country. Reminders and tracking of large customers through the quoting and bid/win/loss phase.
Theo simplicity and intuitiveness of the tools is very good.
The price could bem better being more affordade.
The organization of tasks and cliente helps me in New Sales.
We use the updates features non-stop to track progress in our pipeline and develop a robust CRM picture of our accounts. We also use it for storage and easy access for templates that we use in our business development process.
The reporting is frustrating unless you subscribe to the pro level. It also has a bit of a learning curve, but that is expected in such a capable tool that you want to us to its fullest potential.
It allows us to have a single point of information on our accounts and pipeline rather than have that information scattered about in different apps or email accounts.
It was super helpful to have Monday for my small business. It's vital to keep me on track for contracts and to stay organized!
the downside is that since i am a one man team, i quickly ran out of the free item limit and could only upgrade to a expensive plan.
Monday helps me stay on track and keep organized especially with multiple client obligations!
It helps us to keep track of incoming leads and not let any sales fall through the cracks.
It is rare, but there is down time and glitches. It is frustrating when this happens.
It has helped us to keep a good eye on sales data so we know what is working and what isnt. Also it tells us when something that usually works is slipping.
I love that Monday.com is so intuitive. Almost every time I go to do something, it does exactly what expect it to, which makes using the tool a breeze.
I have run into a few small glitches/bugs, and also there is no "checkbox" or bulk-select feature on the My Work page, which is annoying.
Our team needed an all-in-one solution to help us manage our incoming sales leads, and connect the customer journey from the time they are a lead until they've been a long-time customer.
I like how Monday.com is so simple and streamlined. It is easy to share tasks with coworkers and it keeps us organized. It is great for non profits with the price point and has so many different templates for us to choose from.
There are some features that could be improved - such as a better quote/invoice generation process. The current process makes a blurry quote which looks a little unprofessional.
We have a ton of clients and this keeps us organized. We are able to see our incoming cash flow much easier and therefore anticipate our budget sooner. We spend less time coordinating and more time improving our business and carrying out operations.
It can seem quite daunting to start with but once you get the hang of things, Monday is so simple to use as a CRM. If you know how to do the basics on excel, you will be more than capable of getting a Monday CRM up and and running smoothly.
There are a few limitations on automation, and I don't think the Outlook integration works as well as it should - the default privacy setting is to share all incoming & outgoing emails from your inbox with all other users in your team. The import from excel function also leaves a bit to be desired.
Our company is stuck in the dark ages and has been using excel for almost everything. Monday has allowed us to migrate all of these spreadsheets online, onto Monday, meaning everyone has access to what they need to, wherever they are.
The fact that it comes with a set of template boards that roll up to a very insightful dashboard
The fact that it's difficult to make sense of and edit the dashboard set up
It enables me to track leads in great detail. The benefit is the dashboard view that we use at an operational level and to report to the advisory board
The user interface is user friendly in the beginning but at some point it starts to become overwhelming. Monday is aiming for a broad use within organization and so I expect a learning curve to match these wide range of use cases.
There are not that many things that I dislike as it's a fit-for-purpose, although we do use other tools for functions Monday (now) covers.
We keep track of internal projects and use it for customer relationship management. We use several of the integrations, but not yet the automation to the full extend.
