Intercom is my primary tool when responding to a chat/email. I can easily organize all the chats and emails. very user-friendly , it is better than using a typical email platform.
When someone uses the @function and mentions you, it just shows under the mentioned category which I overlook sometimes. I think it could have been better if you will also add a pop-up notification function. Overall this is a very helpful communication tool for me.
It is an outstanding feature where the email can be sorted out automatically, so it helps save so much time sorting manually, it goes straight to the specific folders so you can easily manage the emails/chats.
The best I like about the intercom is the designation between teams and if the task would not be designated to your skill you may reassign it to the right team or department.
I'm able to encounter an update on intercom then after that my name on the system automatically reset to default and i need to edit it again please ensure that when update happen it remains all the information and put it back to default.
On the intercom, we were able to assist our guests and chauffeur to guide them and support them in every way. It makes our life easier as we have connections on every possible way

I can make a comparison between the intercom and another email application that we use. Based on my experience, the issue with the intercom that I do not like is that there are times when some of the conversations take time to load. You are handling customers via phone, but the intercom inbox delays loading the customer's details. Aside from the delay, other bugs force the customer service staff to slow down their work.
It helps to have better and more accessible communication with us and our clients. Since this is a user-friendly tool, this allows us to track our history easily. I can easily monitor my conversation and help me review for growth.

I cannot think of a downside to the intercom, as it is already perfect for me. I am only thinking of when you are set as away and reassign replies. Once the chatter chats again, it will be removed from your closed chat. And as well, the email is being sent right away, so if you need to change it, there's no undo, unlike with Yahoo. And have a grammar/spelling checker with the tool.
The intercom helps me with email and chats because of the macros. It benefits me to solve the question right away as I do not need to think about what to say or construct with the email with the help of macro.

For me, there's no reason for this tool to not be helpful because even if we are in aircall tool the client's information are also pops up to the aircall and I find it so helpful as well.
