The main function of CorelDRAW is the production of beautiful posters, advertisements, calendars, business cards and leaflets. The application will take from 150 to 300 MB of memory on the hard disk. The windows of the program are strongly overloaded with all sorts of options and buttons. Maybe it's good, because it has the maximum functionality of the application, but not very good, because the windows from the overabundance of all buttons are a bit like the dashboard of helicopters. In different versions of CorelDRAW there are significant errors of the creators. In CorelDRAW there are no tools for business graphics, enabling you to easily and quickly create charts and graphs.

Periodically, there is a need to process a graphic image. Such tasks are set as professional designers in the field of advertising and printing (who spend a lot of time creating and editing graphics, working with text, correcting photos), and business users, sometimes creating advertising and printed materials, without resorting to the services of the first , to save a little.

The program corel draw in my country, is the program that every student starts, easy to use and dynamic, offers interesting vectorization options is very adaptable and really useful for the final impression

I've been using CorelDraw for about last ten years and for me there are three big pluses of working in this program: 1. Very convenient work with nodes and curves. 2. Very convenient work with multi-page document (it was impossible to do in Adobe Illustrator for a long time). 3. The interface. It's stricter and more structured than Adobe's interface to my mind. Other options are the same or worse in compare with Adobe Illustrator

There are several things that bother me: 1. I don't know about other countries, but in Russia working in CorelDraw shows that you're a provincial and not so skillful designer. "Cool" designers work in Illustrator. It's a prejudice, but there it is. 2. For many designers the best program to work with photos is Photoshop. And, naturally, as programs from one family, Photoshop and Illustrator work together perfect. You have to do more steps to achieve the same between CorelDraw and Photoshop. It's very important, because there are many projects that contain both raster and vector graphic. 3. I've heard many stories how hard to print from CorelDraw. To be honest, I've never met this problem in my life: all my project from CorelDraw (even with CorelDraw effects (!) were printed well.

I created in CorelDraw corporate identity (logos, corporate styles, mascots, brand books, etc.), labels, leaflets-booklets, posters, postcards and even some stuff for application and websites.

Sigue teniendo una mala calidad en manejo de color y no es muy compatible con otras aplicaciones. De momento se siente "inestable" al hacer muchos zooms y trabajar archivos con muchos nodos.

I am not solving any business problems with Corel... This is a really strange question

- Corel files are lighter - It's tools are much more intuitive than others... - vector graphics, 2D Technical Drawing, digital painting, 3D features, Perspective tools that you can understand, Web design... Its all there! - snap and alignment is easy and customizable It's best to use it for quick, easy ideations, 2D drawing, etc.

Unstable at complex designs and not 100% at any of the above. It crashes and the auto-save feature is insufficient. And the colors.... ugh! Hard to understand why it's color management is so weird.

Interface is not as user friendly as Adobe. Harder to locate some of the common task like selecting similar objects.

Corel has been the best and respectable alternative to Illustrator for 25 years. I started working on PC with Corel Draw in the first advertising agency where I worked, because it was a cheaper solution than a Mac and Adobe package. Reluctant at first, but I began to realize that despite having a more "ugly" interface than its competitors, Corel was (and is) a very intuitive and user-friendly software, with a very fast learning curve. Furthermore, as it was a software specially for PCs (despite the mac version), it was optimized for the use of the two buttons of the mouse, and with a click it is faster to assign colors, align objects, as well as cut or join objects. Besides, being a very powerful vectorial drawing tool, Corel Draw already allowed to use multiple pages years before Illustrator, which allowed to ilustrate, create logos, page design and layout, in one program. Even my fellow designers who were loyal to the Mac and Illustrator were convinced by Corel. Now it evens allow to build web pages. These days I use more Illustrator, but still use Corel Draw because it continues to be the easiest software to work in vector freehand drawings.

Since Corel 11, all the versions of Corel became more unstable. The program has gained a lot more features, but with them appeared more program failures crashes and export problems, etc. It has also some problems importing some files, especially Adobe CS files. For example, if the .ai files are compressed, it is not possible to import to Corel.

I like many of its features. It facilitate us with variety of options if you are making vector graphics. Good to design logos, posters, packaging, etc. It has many good features which other graphic software doesn't have. Many of the people prefer working in Corel draw because of its good features specially for the print graphics. Handy one and easy to use and understand. Another thing which I like about this software is that though it's not adobe creation but still it can be used and is compatible with some of adobe softwares.

I think its compatibility in comparison with adobe softwares is what this software lacked in. It cant be used for photo editing and some other purposes but for print graphics it is as good as Illustrator. Another thing which this software lacked in is that we cant used it for the work of digital media like making websites and app designs. It doesn't havve options like live trace and pantone color variations.

It is very "square". There are times where the tools are very basic, and the quality of the colors used are not very accurate, you must know very well the color palette to avoid making simple mistakes. -- Es muy "cuadrado". What's best about Corel Draw is it's intuitive UI. Best vector editing program for new users. One can easily advance from newbie to pro user in short period.

Compared to Illustrator it looks outdated. Difference between two are only getting bigger as Illustrator brings fresh updates more often.

I like Corel Draw because has many and ease tools for graphic design, also the predesigned galleries that come with the product, this software was the first that I learned to use in design, for me CorelDraw is a very complete software for illustration and layout advertising

Corel draw comes very much after adobe photoshop. The best part of coreldraw is it very simple to use. To master other professional softwares like photoshop and illustrator one must prefer to learn coreldraw. In India coreldraw is more preferred by printers and designers.

There is nothing like dislike its only preference. Its the price if the license. When one has to pay such a price why not buy Adobe cc product.

Coreldraw is good for starters and very easy to understand. Easy to export to multiple platforms. Coreldraw and Paint go hand in hand. Its like two experts focusing on one project. I was using Adobe on mac platform when working abroad and in India they prefer Coreldraw on PC.

corel provides a variety of features for graphic designing it is easy to use and understand for beginners it occupies little space and uses limited capacity for any machine it can run in a variety of platforms such a windows 7,8,10 and mac Os thus making it robust and highly reliable.

updated versions do not run in old versions of windows such as windows xp for example corel draw x10 suite does not work in windows xp small mistakes in drawing or pictures are visible in a case where the image or drawing is enlarged.

If using professionally for the first time. This can be overwhelming with all the features involved. I recommend some extra support in this area.

I have used corel along with CNC for construction applications.

Useful for simple tasks such as vectoring, color separation, creating vector shapes and a useful complement to work with other tools from the same design family. It has a friendly interface and an easy to use toolbar. Your commands to vectorize work correctly and are very useful.

It is a software that is still very basic in comparison with others in the same family, with very limited options and a toolbar that lacks complex and professional commands that lead to the results required by a professional company. It lacks a line of options for editing and correction of images in a professional manner, in that area its performance is insufficient, its interface is not attractive or creative, which gives it a basic and simple performance aspect.

In the area of ​​design work and the face of the production of ideas it is important the form and opt for the silhouettes of the designs is vital to understand the aesthetic part of the design stage, with this tool we can create the vectorized silhouette and then take it to other programs to continue the design phase.

As graphic deaigner I receive from clients sometimes designs in corel format, so I need to use it time to time. Is an popular software in the design area.

The best feature that presents Corel Draw is the power clip and the artistic media tool which is GREAT... it's way easy to use so new and unexperienced graphic design students or enthusiasts can work with vector files and create illustrations without much knowledge. I use it for real simple tasks.

It can't be used on Mac computers, unless you have "Windows Parallels" or re-start your mac with Windows via bootcamp. It also creates very big files, and has no good integration with Adobe programs, so files exported to adobe illustrator aren't really editable. That's a pain every time I need to use it because I really don't like re-starting my computer on bootcamp, and it's difficult to work with other colleagues that only use OS X.

The best thing I enjoy about this product is the extensive and vast printing features it provides. I use it most of the time for DTP and I enjoy the options, interfaces and ease with which you can prepare and set any document for printing. Even though not compatible with most of the vector files and features of adobe programs all in all it is very useful when it comes to adjusting and preparing the layout for printing. Most of the printing agencies in Romania use Corel alongside other printer related software.

I would like to have a better accuracy and better control of certain features in Corel. For example tools are not so obvious and even though you may configure your space to your own desire I still find it a little too crowded. Certain tools are not very exact when it comes to their feature taking it more towards a CAD software rather then a vector/design software

Usually use it for printing and DTP. It is compatible with the Konika Minolta driver and has full features like printing layout, color printing management and printing mode.

The auto back-up function was very good, because it crashed very often. The bezier-tool was very good. Even better, than the Illustrator.

I handled very hard the raster imaginary. Crushed very often.

Map designing, layout designin. If you are working only in vector, you will love it. You can alling everything very well. The masking tools is very powerful and do what you want.

i like that CorelDraw is very easy to use and can do multiple tasks in just one software. It is Illustrator and Indesign, combined. Also, it is printer-friendly and shows accurate colors.

It sometimes lags and crashes, but that's it. Overall, it's a great editing software!

It is a great tool for digitalizing my drawings and designs to have them in vectors.

It's a popular software used for create graphical designing works. I like it's interface. And we can also save output as vector images. So, we can enlarge images without loosing the clarity.

It's not a simple software. That means, we need some knowledge in Corel draw for using it. So, for bigginers, it's take some time to digest the tools. Compared to Adobe softwares, Corel softwares are tough.

Actually, iam not using Corel draw now. It's little bit complicated software compared to Adobe illustrator. But, 2 years before, I used Corel draw for creating designing works as freelancer.

It's easy to understand the user's interface but process to create new vectors are quite limited IMHO.

Littels logos or littel graphics

They have a 3D feature that is pretty neat, it even has simulated lighting. I like that CorelDraw has updated their program to have more features that a lot of modern programs like adobe and procreate have.

I still think their UI is still outdated, it's not a modern-looking program but I can tell their recent updates are gearing towards a more friendly and sleek-looking user interface.

It's very technical drawing and direct designs. So if you want to map out complicated and mathematical work, this is a great program.

Corel Draw is better for textile industry because doing patterns is easy with its interface.

Non compatibility with another programs , or some commands

Im Textile designer so , when i need vectorize and to use cut plotters , corel is better.
