We have been using constant contact for the last few years and we have seen the difference between our reach to customers, their engagement and their response to it too. Constant contact has a free demo and free trial to have a good insight before investing your money on it.
Its interface lags a bit,which means that if it starts lagging, we will have to work again. It’s very unpleasant at times and it costs more time and effort and in the case of emergency, if it lags, you are pretty screwed. If the lagging at times gets resolved, we can trust the software more and many people want a system who will not betray them at the time of need.
We have seen a great reach out since we are using constant contact. We can reach out to around 350 million in a day, we can generate marketing campaigns and the response rate is fantastic, which has eventually increased our selling rate too. Also, this software is easily integrated with significant eCommerce software like Shopify.
I love how user-friendly the platform is and how professional the emails look!
There's not much that I dislike! However, I wish there were even more options to customize the emails, like having different shapes for the blocks and a clickable call button.
I'm solving the problem of staying in constant contact with my database. I realized that email still works! I've generated thousands of dollars of business simply by consistently staying in contact with my clients.

I wish there was a texting feature that I could easily send to clients.

i've been using Constant Contact for many years. It's integral to my email marketing campaigns. It helps me create usable, segmented email lists. They recently added a feature which enables me to identify my most engaged contacts. That way I know who to reach out to. Support is always top notch- whomever I get is always very helpful. That's a big part of why i've remained a customer all these years.
There used to be a glitch in which not all of my lists would appear so I couldn't enter new candidates- this may have been fixed.
It's a great way for me to keep in touch with my network.

I love that I can group our teammates into the appropriate groups, so they get the correct information versus everyone getting everything. We use CC as a CRM one that keeps our 450 agents in line with top-of-the-moment updates, deadlines, and other vital information. We use the platform to ensure that our agents know what is essential versus a normal email. It also enables us to put everything into one package and resend as many times as needed. The copy email button makes life a dream. I would not as accurately and as quickly disseminate information if I did not have Constant Contact. Programming the campaigns to go out on schedule helps office personnel work efficiently and almost like future work is already taken care of
Not being able to send an email to just one person over and over is a huge tie up for us. Or an easier way to resend an already sent email back to the group. After you've been with CC for awhile you know how to go to the analytics and click all and resend but it seems there should be a button for it that would make a send all faster.
We've solved agents being late on deadlines down to a 4% error rate, that's HUGE because there will always be human error and forgetfullness but the industry average is 27%
Constant Contact gives me the flexibility to design my own emails or to use their templates. The editor is intuitive and easy to use. The reporting is helpful. There are hundreds of integrations with other marketing tools that help efficiency. Anytime I've had questions, the customer service team is pleasant and knowledgeable. They even share my 'wish list' enhancements with the tech team and I'll get a notification when the fix is implemented.
A/B testing for email content is only available at the top-tier account. At the Plus level, you can only A/B test subject lines. The Automation and Survey features are a little clunky and less intuitive than designing regular emails, but they are manageable.
I've increased my open rates far above my industry's average, resulting in more conversions.

They are the proven professionals.. not only do they provide everything you need to get to your members with everything you need to let them know what's going on.. but they also make recruitment of new members and building a stronger organization a breeze. This is the best tool for communication I know of...
I can't think of a thing that i dislike about the program.

Nothing impresses me with Constant Contact more than the prompt support, we receive from their support team. We experienced a glitch with Constant Contant of recent and it took me less than a ten minute period, to resolve the issue over the phone. In an era where software vendors rarely provide a phone support option for their users, Comstant Contact ensures it is putting its user first, above trends by making phone support available. Besides the above, Constant contact also excels when it comes to email marketing automation. Constant Contacts automation feature-set allows us to nurture sales leads, engage with our sales audience and expand our sales reach in the process.
Costant contacts social media sharing option only allow me share links to social media platforms. Asides this , it does nothing extra or special. This causes major dis--satisfaction, as I will love to have access to more features in this aspect, such as the ability to measure the level of engagement our shared social media links has, right from Constant Contact interface.

The ability to send automated marketing messages to our nurtured sales leads, at the ideal time when they are likely to need our services, is an huge benefit that only Constant Contact has been able to provide.

Constant Contact open rates are too low.
I needed to have emailing marketing for our addiction Executive conferences we hold. The cost is too high to keep CC every month, so we just put it on hold for $5 until our next event.
I love the easy integration, newsletter archives, embeds with socials, and the overall user-friendliness.
Maybe a little bit more free within editing blocks would be nice, but other than that it's great.
Sending mass emails and having people sign themselves up for the listserve
I like that Constant Contact allows you to customize your mass emails to your liking and has templates you can build off of. Makes using it very easy. I also like getting the reports as to how many people opened the email and how many even clicked on the links within the email.
I have yet to find something I dislike about this software. It has been great to use for mass emails.
Constant Contact allows me to send mass emails at once. If I were to try to do that just using gmail I wouldn't be able to. I love that there is no limit as to the number of people you can email at once.
