Sends emails well, however I felt like I was paying way more than is justified as MailChimp is superior in almost every regard.
No visual campaign organization, bad ecommerce integrations
Sending email
It gets the job done. If you need to send emails and manage a list, Aweber will absolutely work for you.
Aweber seems to have fallen behind the times when it comes to robust email marketing. They're multiple list management system is clunky and they don't easily allow you to setup automations and rules based on subscriber actions.
The benefits of Aweber are that it keeps your database of emails in order and lets you send out broad emails rather than using your personal email account.
Easy integration of Email Accounts in there intuitive and ergonomic user interface. Completing any task capable through AWeber is a breeze. Customer service was diligent to explain why more practical methods were not (yet) adopted.
Particularly when it comes to Social Networks, there are a number of functions that competitors offer and AWeber does not.
Expanding our reach via Email has always been important to us, but we needed to get everybody on the team to chip in and do work on the platform. Thanks to the easy to use interface, we did not have to spend much time training the members of the team.
List management. It's easy to upload lists and add new subscribers. It is easy to clean up the lists as well. It serves well if you're looking a way to send out simple emails for a large list. It's also nice to be able to switch between multiple lists to see only the emails that have been sent to a certain list. In other platforms, this has been an issue.
I've used quite a few other email platforms for mass emails and I have found that AWeber doesn't offer as much customization with creating emails. I like to create my own format for emails, and it's a little more difficult in AWeber than some other platforms. It's more of a basic service. I also am not impressed with the home page for the sole reason of not having the key things that I like to see when I first get to a landing page. This is more of a personal preference.
We need a way to email out newsletters and promotions to large lists of clients. We use AWeber as an alternative to our company email platform to send out image-driven emails. Because we are an online retail based company, we have benefited greatly from the ability to send out an email that looks good to a large group in one click of a button.
I like how easy it is to use the platform and the customer service has been fantastic. I am a personal user of AWeber and I have found the training and email communication they provide to be very helpful.
The price is the biggest negative for me. There are other platforms that are cheaper and serve the same purpose.
Mass communication is our biggest problem we solve with AWeber.
It was easy to use and has more features than MailChimp. It's cheaper than ConvertKit.
I had some issues with the cache on all web browsers. It wouldn't let me create new broadcasts which was a big issue. The view when creating the email sequences was cut off and I had to zoom out my screen to -70 or -80%. Email sequences was in beta at the time though.
It takes care of email delivery and opt-in delivery.
The fact that I can personalize emails to my client base. They all matter and deserve that.
I would prefer a bit more customization in regards to organizing things
The biggest problem this is solving for me is reaching out to my target audience. They are who is important to me.
It's basically a good professional email service. I feel safe using it. I like the sign up forms.
I really dislike the look of the email that people see in order to confirm that they want to take your offer. I hate that big link. It looks like spam and is unappealing and confusing. I've considered switching to MailChimp because of this for a long time. I wish the sign up with Facebook option were more visually appealing. I wasn't able to send a draft or broadcast the other day though I understand any service will have problems now and then.
It's a good way for me to keep in touch with our list and a good way to adverstise for sign ups.
20 years experience has helped with Integration ability to integrate with all most common platforms.
Pricing: I feel there is a lot more options available at a fraction of the price being charged
When looking for a robust mailing program that needs to be integrated, AWeber offers an all-round solution
Ok it deliver the mails, so nothing to complain about that
They decide what kind of email marketing tou can or can't do.
I don't solve any problem with eweber
I liked the concept of the platform and the automatic mailing. They also had nice templates for emails.
I consider myself tech savvy and I couldn’t figure the system out. It was way too complicated.
Emailing clients important tips and ideas and following up with potential clients.
The ability to track all the analytics is really good and I like being about to break down my segments for readers.
The price. I don’t really feel like aweber does anything that other mail services do but they charge a lot for their service.
We started building our email list for a book series and you tube learning series. We realized that it is really important to have a mailing list that has analytics because it helps to see if you are targeting the right people.
AWeber makes it possible to send emails to large groups of people.
It's just clunky and the interface isn't intuitive.
email marketing.
Ease of use, drag and drop templates. Ability to go back to previous campaigns and edit
Not enough features compared to other platforms
Email marketing
It's easy to use and if you have any issues then support is sure to be helpful.
The pricing. They should honestly have a super cheap route for one man business operations.
Being able to have an auto response to singups on a web platform.
All of the options, if only I could have figured out how to use them
So confusing. You have to be a tech expert to understand anything
Communication
Their customer support chat is great and easy!
I wish there were easier options for sending content without creating a new list.
It automates my emails for list building and engagement
That it is cheaper than most other platforms. If you can not afford an expensive platform like HubSpot then this is a good one to start with.
It is extremely difficult at first to get used to. It is not user friendly at all as far as uploading lists and learning how to send out an email.
This helps us with sending out lead nurturing emails.
Good low-cost option for sending emails. Good template editor.
Support is not very good (it's very slow) and they are very persnickety about the content of your lists even though you're paying them. UI is not as intuitive as some other platforms, but once you get used to it it's fine.
Sending out emails to our customers and potential customers.
Being able to attache files to mailings.
The menu-structure / mapfiling: I find it difficult to see in which map and document I have to make changes.
