Being able to group customers and prospects
online system can take a while to load up

Ease of use and very well set out. Easy to show others how to use.
Not a lot. The only thing I can think of is I occasionally have problems syncing with Outlook.

I like how ACT is able to integrate with pre-existing templates we built previously. It also has helped us maintain and keep our database up-to-date.
I haven't found any one thing I particularly don't like. I do know this software will do waaaaay more than what I need.
Database Management was a huge problem for us. Updating info is also mich easier.
ACT is a good program that allow customization of the record layouts. It’s easy to teach how to use for new employees.
Does not support a lot is users or records. We have it running on the best hardware but if utilized by a lot of users at once, it slows down and locks up.

There is so much capability of the ACT! Software it can take a long time to learn to properly use efficiently.

Act is easy to use. I have it up on multiple computers for my assistants to use too. When you have a problem the tech support is there to talk you through it step by step.
I can't think of this I dislike. I have not used other CRM's,don't know any different thought.
This is a great program for my real estate career. I am able to make notes..."about the house with the blue carpet" and find it in a search.
Versatility. The program enables you to do so much. Customize your layout. Create document and email templates, and track opportunities in a variety of ways.
There are only a few minor things that I dislike. When looking for contacts, the search feature is not very forgiving if you do not type the name in wrong. Other than that, not many dislikes.
We have been able to merge a substantial amount of information about our clients into the layout. This has enabled us to "template" a substantial amount of front-end work that goes into our document creation process.

Sometimes summary it didn't show all on my line manager report, causing management look at employee like she did nothing

I like that this software is very customizable and I can easily manipulate customer data to see a full picture of my clients.
The cost is rather high when you need to have multiple accessing the database.

I like the amount of "filter" tabs that ACT! has for different functions (ie notes, follow up, contacts)
During startup, there is always an "instructional" screen and there is no function to turn this off. It is an extra step before I actually get into my database.
It allows me to keep all information pertinent to current and prospective clients in one place and it has a nice function where I can print out a list of info. for my time spent on the road.
The software is easy to use. ACT offers good after sales support. Easy to import data
ACT shuts down when I send out mass E-zines to over 1000 contacts and is slow to load the account management page. The host serve for images is also slow.
ACT has been a valuable tool to help us target marketing materials to our verticals.

The scope of the database that can be created
Synchronization is not easy. As with all software, "The best thing about computer's is -TECHNOLOGY. The worst thing about computers is TECHNOLOGY."
I'm currently retired. I've used ACT for many years. Back when it was called ACT 1 for DOS. Over the years, I've just continued using the most recent versons.
Act integrates my calendar and my contacts, creates a diary of interactions with each contact, and allows me to plan my future interactions. All of my business activity exists in Act.
Some CRM's automatically fill in data, based on company website. Act doesn't do that. Not my version anyway.
Act keeps me organized. Nothing falls through the cracks. My follow-ups are timely and tenacious.
I like the layout and how easy it is to use. Makes my job much easier.
The system can run a little slow sometimes and you have to rebuild the data base with maintenance tools that helps sometimes but not all times.
I manage an online members only community so I'm able to track and manage all of my members.
